Baseball Recap: Garden City Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Garden City ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Trenton Trojans 8-6. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on five straight.

The team relied heavily on Andre Davis, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Brandon Lewandowski also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Garden City pushed their record up to 21-6 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Trenton, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-6.
