Baseball Game Preview: Dickson Comets vs. Marietta Indians

The Dickson Comets will head out on the road to square off against the Marietta Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dickson has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 15.

Dickson came up short against Lexington on Tuesday, falling 15-5.

Meanwhile, Marietta was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Dickson. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Marietta's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Dickson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Dickson couldn't quite get it done against Marietta in their previous matchup on Friday as they fell 5-2. Can the Comets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
