Portland scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Bonny Eagle Scots, falling 15-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Brody Viola was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Mateo Pulaski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Portland's defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Bonny Eagle, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
