Basketball Game Preview: Carolina Basketball Academy Tigers vs. Lab University Prep Regional Kings

The Carolina Basketball Academy Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Lab University Prep Regional Kings at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Carolina Basketball Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight losses, while Lab University Prep Regional will come in with five straight victories.

Back in December of 2024, Carolina Basketball Academy came up short against Word of God Christian Academy National and fell 68-59. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Holy Rams are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, Lab University Prep Regional didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Oak Ridge Military Academy on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 77-73 win.

Lab University Prep Regional is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Carolina Basketball Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
