Volleyball Recap: University Christian Extends Winning Streak to Five

It's playoff time, and University Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against The Burlington School Spartans on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Barracudas as they're now sitting on five straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9, 25-16.

University Christian found their leader in freshman Fernanda Soto, who had 14 digs and 11 aces. Those 11 aces set a new season-high mark for Soto.

University Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 27 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

University Christian's record is now 13-4. As for The Burlington School, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

University Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Westminster Catawba Christian on the 16th. The Burlington School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
