Baseball Game Preview: Jensen Beach Falcons vs. Treasure Coast Titans

The Jensen Beach Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Treasure Coast Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jensen Beach has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 18.

Last Tuesday, Jensen Beach came up short against Vero Beach and fell 7-3.

Jensen Beach saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graham Garner, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Treasure Coast also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Centennial by a score of 4-1.

Treasure Coast also got a good showing from Colin Jackson, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jackson has become a key player for the Titans: the team is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-10 otherwise.

Jensen Beach's record now sits at 8-15. As for Treasure Coast, their record is now 10-12.

Jensen Beach skirted past Treasure Coast 4-3 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
