Red River waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Bossier Bearkats with a sharp 17-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Red River pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Bossier, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-9-1 record this season.

Red River will venture away from home to face off against Dodson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bossier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
