Baseball Recap: Open Door Christian Takes a Loss

Open Door Christian lost against South Central back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patriots lost 9-2 to the Trojans. The Patriots' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Open Door Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevor Taylor, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Open Door Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for South Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Open Door Christian will head out on the road to take on Fairview at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for South Central, they will welcome New London at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
