Baseball Game Preview: Syracuse Titans vs. Layton Lancers

For the second straight game, Syracuse will face off against Layton. The Titans will host the Lancers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

While Syracuse's win against Layton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans skirted past the Lancers 4-3. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won five in a row.

Easton Hamblin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

Syracuse's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Layton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-9 record.
