After a string of five wins, Boone's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East River Falcons. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for East River, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boone will head out to face off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East River, they will venture away from home to challenge Astronaut at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. East River's pitchers better be ready for this one: Astronaut has averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
