Upstate had won five straight games and Annie Hendley did her part to make it six on Thursday. The Falcons claimed a resounding 58-17 victory over the Oakbrook Prep Knights for which the team can thank Hendley, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 steals. Hendley is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Upstate's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Oakbrook Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upstate will take on Bob Jones Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakbrook Prep, they will square off against Laurens Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
