Volleyball Game Preview: Akron-Fairgrove Vikings vs. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons + How To Watch

The Akron-Fairgrove Vikings will head out to take on the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Akron-Fairgrove will be strutting in after a win while Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Akron-Fairgrove turned things around against Mayville on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The Vikings not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Michigan Lutheran Seminary.

Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Akron-Fairgrove, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-2.

Everything went Akron-Fairgrove's way against Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Akron-Fairgrove made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
