            Softball Preview: Wasco Tigers vs. Chavez Titans        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Wasco will face off against Chavez. The Tigers will face off against the Titans at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Wasco will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Wasco got the win against Chavez  by a conclusive  10-1. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won ten games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Cedes Saldana spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in 17 consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Aliya Leal was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Jazzy Juarez was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  triple.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Wasco  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Wasco's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-7-1. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Chavez, they moved to 10-12 with that  defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
