Basketball Recap: Edgerton Comes Up Short

Edgerton suffered their biggest loss since November 26, 2024 on Friday. They lost 55-34 to the Archbold Blue Streaks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 57-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Edgerton still got an impressive performance from Alivia Farnham, who posted 12 points. That was a full 35.3% of the Bulldogs' points, marking the fifth time in a row Farnham has had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Saul, who scored six points.

This is the second loss in a row for Edgerton and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Archbold, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgerton will challenge Bryan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Archbold, they will take on Defiance at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
