Soccer Recap: Sachse Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Sachse was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wylie East Raiders who were credited with the win. The Wylie East Raiders got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Sachse Mustangs' six. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Sachse's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-2. As for Wylie East, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0-1.

Sachse wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against North Garland on the 28th. Wylie East has also already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against South Garland on the 28th.
