Soccer Recap: Prospect Comes Up Short

Prospect was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palatine Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Prospect of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Jack Naumowicz, who's now up to six this season.

Prospect's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-4. As for Palatine, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-8-1.

Prospect does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palatine, they will take on Warren Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
