St. Maries waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Grangeville Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 8-5 victory on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Addilynn Turner, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Averie Baird, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

St. Maries' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Grangeville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Looking ahead, St. Maries will face off against Orofino at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Maniacs have averaged an impressive 12.7 runs per game this season. As for Grangeville, they will challenge Prairie at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.89 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
