Santa Fe Indian entered their tilt with Pecos on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Panthers 15-4. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Santa Fe Indian got a great performance from Layla Saracino as she struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Abrielle Herrera was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailani Vigil, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Santa Fe Indian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in six consecutive matchups.

Santa Fe Indian pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Santa Fe Indian beat Pecos by a score of 18-4 later that day.
