Baseball Recap: Nordonia Comes Up Short

Nordonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 5-0 to the Hudson Explorers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Explorers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Nordonia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominik Canzoni, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Nordonia's record now sits at 0-3. As for Hudson, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Nordonia is set to square off against their familiar foe Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hudson will face off against rival Solon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
