Baseball Recap: Cache Comes Up Short

Cache was the 5-4 winner over Bridge Creek when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deshaun Harvey was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Cache is 4-1 when Harvey posts two or more runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Garrett Graham also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Cache's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Bridge Creek, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13.

While Cache had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
