Baseball Recap: St. Edward Takes a Loss

St. Edward was the 8-1 winner over Medina when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 6-2 to the Bees on Monday.

St. Edward has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season. As for Medina, their record now sits at 10-3.

Looking ahead, St. Edward will take on Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Polar Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Medina, they will face off against Mayfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bees 3.5, the Wildcats 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
