Basketball Recap: Junction Takes a Loss

Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Mason Punchers, falling 59-21. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1360th, while the Punchers are ranked 517th).

Junction's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Mason, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Goldthwaite the next time they take the court. Junction will head out to face Goldthwaite at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Mason will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th.
