Soccer Game Preview: Frazier Mountain vs. Bishop Union

Frazier Mountain hasn't had much luck against Bishop Union recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Frazier Mountain Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Bishop Union Broncos at 3:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bishop Union better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Frazier Mountain really get things going. Frazier Mountain never let Desert onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Thursday.

Jasmine Lira and Sienna Reyna scored all three of Frazier Mountain's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Bishop Union was not the first on the board last Wednesday, but they got there more often. They beat Kern Valley by a goal, winning 3-2. Taylor Derr had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Broncos got from the refs.

Bishop Union's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Frazier Mountain, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Frazier Mountain might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Bishop Union in their previous meeting back in January. Can Frazier Mountain avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
