Basketball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

Ringgold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 67-53 bruising from the Union County Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-52 back in January.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Union County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-4.

Ringgold has already played their next game (against Murray County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Union County will be playing in front of their home fans against North Murray at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Union County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully North Murray likes a good challenge.
