Basketball Recap: Warsaw Takes a Loss

Warsaw lost against Adrian back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warsaw Wildcats had to suffer through a 69-36 loss at the hands of the Adrian Blackhawks. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-15.

Trent Downing and Brennen Slavens certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Downing went 6 for 9 en route to 12 points and five rebounds, while Slavens posted nine points and five boards. That's the most boards Slavens has posted since back in February of 2024.

Warsaw's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8. As for Adrian, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warsaw has already played their next game (against Holden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Adrian has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Sherwood.
