Softball Recap: Salt Fork Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Casey-Westfield, Salt Fork was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Covington Trojans 3-1. The Storm haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Salt Fork's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Covington, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Salt Fork didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-7 win against Milford on the 11th. As for Covington, they have also already played their next game, a 15-3 defeat against Tri-County on the 14th.
