Basketball Recap: Jakari Braggs' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mcintosh over Citronelle

If McIntosh was riding high fresh off their 70-33 takedown of Fruitdale last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The McIntosh Demons lost to the Citronelle Wildcats on the road by a 66-52 margin on Friday. The Demons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in January.

McIntosh lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jakari Braggs, who posted 13 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Braggs a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Corey Williams, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

McIntosh's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Citronelle, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

McIntosh didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-51 defeat against Excel on the 9th. As for Citronelle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-53 loss against Harrison Central on the 7th.
