Volleyball Recap: Clinton Cougars vs. Racine Lutheran Crusaders
Clinton was the 2-1 winner over Racine Lutheran when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Their offense was headlined by Macy Hinz and Sadie Yeadon, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Kiana Stahl and her 12 assists. Yeadon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
Racine Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samantha Agerholm led the charge by getting six aces and five digs. That's the most digs Agerholm has posted over her last six matches. Another player making a difference was Sophia Schatzman, who had ten digs and two aces.
