Basketball Game Preview: Chinle Wildcats vs. Pine Hill Warriors

The Chinle Wildcats and the Pine Hill Warriors will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chinle saw some tournament action on Thursday. They snuck past Navajo Prep with a 43-37 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 116th in Arizona, while the Eagles are ranked 35th in New Mexico).

Meanwhile, Pine Hill earned a 53-44 win over Rock Point on Thursday.

Chinle's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Pine Hill, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
