Gresham extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 72-71 W against the Sheldon Irish. For the Gophers, this counts as revenge for the 56-51 win the Irish walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

As for Sheldon, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. On the bright side, the 71- point effort marked their highest-scoring matchup to date.

Sheldon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gerrit Cupp, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jake Morrow, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 20 points.

Coming up, Gresham will be home for the holidays to greet Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sheldon, they will head out on the road to take on Ridgeview at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
