Baseball Recap: William Tennent Comes Up Short

William Tennent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-5 to the Upper Moreland Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.

Henry Perotti made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season.

William Tennent's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Upper Moreland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. William Tennent is set to challenge their familiar foe New Hope-Solebury at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Upper Moreland will face off against rival Cheltenham at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
