Baseball Recap: Normangee Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Normangee lost 22-3 to Aggieland HomeSchool. The contest marked Normangee's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Normangee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Farrell Butler, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Normangee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Normangee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Centerville at 7:00 p.m. on March 28th. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Fayetteville has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
