Soccer Game Preview: Etowah vs. Forsyth Central

The Etowah Eagles will take on the Forsyth Central Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Etowah was handed a four-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene last Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past North Cobb 2-1.

Meanwhile, Forsyth Central kept a clean sheet against North Forsyth last Thursday. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0.

Forsyth Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for Etowah, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8-1.

Etowah took their win against Forsyth Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
