King/Drew and Taft squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but King/Drew had to settle for second. They lost 11-1 to the Toreadors. The Golden Eagles' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

King/Drew saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Garcia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

King/Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Taft, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-11.

King/Drew does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taft, they have already played their next matchup, an 8-3 win against Marquez on the 31st.
