Caledonia has gone 7-1 against St. Charles recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will face off against the Fighting Saints at 5:00 p.m. Caledonia's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so St. Charles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Friday, Caledonia came up short against Plainview-Elgin-Millville and fell 9-5.

Will Allen was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Allen was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Allen wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ben Stemper, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, St. Charles fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Lourdes on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-4. The Fighting Saints haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Charles fell to 3-1. As for Caledonia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Caledonia beat St. Charles 6-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fighting Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
