Basketball Recap: Walkertown Wolfpack vs. North Forsyth Vikings
Walkertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 32nd straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the North Forsyth Vikings 54-22. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent defeat being a 57-21 loss back in January.
Jylyia Mizell was her usual excellent self, putting up 23 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals for North Forsyth. The matchup was Mizell's fourth in a row with at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Ariel Odugba, who posted eight points along with 12 boards and six steals.
Walkertown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for North Forsyth, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.
Walkertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Forsyth, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-31 win against West Stokes on the 18th.
