Football Recap: Newton's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

Newton lost against Sparta back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Braves took a hard 35-20 fall against the Spartans. The loss put an end to the Braves' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Newton fell to 2-1. As for Sparta, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Newton will face off against High Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sparta, they will take on Vernon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
