Baseball Recap: Holdenville Comes Up Short

Holdenville lost against McLoud back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines came up short against the Redskins, falling 10-4. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Stafford made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Stafford is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Holdenville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for McLoud, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-11.

Looking ahead, Holdenville will challenge Wewoka at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McLoud, they will square off against Harding Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
