Soccer Recap: Sharyland Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial

There's no place like home for Sharyland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Wolverines are ranked 650th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sharyland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sharyland will take on Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pioneer at 6:00 p.m. on February 18th.
