Oakland Christian had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Byron Eagles. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Oakland Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0-1. As for Byron, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakland Christian will square off against Plymouth Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Lancers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Byron, they will face off against New Lothrop at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
