After losing to Monacan the last time they met, James River Midlothian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rapids were the clear victors by  a  10-3 margin over the Chiefs on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Rapids, who have now won three contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Jayden Grant made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances.  In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Cooper Harris, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
