South Anchorage unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 6-0 to the North Pole Patriots on Friday.

Jillian Preston threw for 109 yards on 12 of 20 attempts. Taylor Fisk was her top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.
