Volleyball Recap: Grandview Comes Up Short

The Grandview Bulldogs didn't have quite enough to beat East on Monday and fell 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grandview actually scored more points across those five sets (103-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-22, 25-20, 20-25, 15-11.

Sebastian Williams paced Grandview's offense, picking up 18 kills. Williams got some help from Alan Uncal-Ramirez and his 20 assists. Uncal-Ramirez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Grandview now has a losing record of 2-3. As for East, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Grandview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Northeast on the 1st. East has also already played their next match (against Northland Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
