Butternut scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against the Bayfield Trollers, falling 100-47. The Midgets haven't had much luck with the Trollers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

It was another big night for Quintin Bresette, who went 15-for-31 on his way to 41 points in addition to seven assists and three steals for Bayfield. The game was Bresette's 12th in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Maxwell Gordon, who posted two points along with ten boards and five blocks.

Butternut's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Bayfield, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Butternut has already played their next contest (against Bowler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bayfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 130-35 victory against Mercer on the 27th.
