Tappan Zee has gone 7-2 against Clarkstown North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Dutchmen will face off against the Rams at 4:30 p.m.

Tappan Zee can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home last Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harrison.

Meanwhile, Clarkstown North made easy work of New Rochelle on Wednesday and carried off a 15-6 win. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Huguenots: they've now won four in a row.

Amaya Hall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Marlee Levin was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Winrow, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Everything went Tappan Zee's way against Clarkstown North in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Tappan Zee made off with a 13-5 win. Will the Dutchmen repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
