Soccer Recap: Catholic - N.I. Takes a Loss

Catholic - N.I. was the 2-1 winner over Vermilion Catholic when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Catholic - N.I. Panthers fell just short of the Vermilion Catholic Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Catholic - N.I.'s loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Vermilion Catholic, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catholic - N.I. will face off against Carencro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Catholic - N.I. is facing Carencro at the right time seeing as Carencro is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Vermilion Catholic, they will square off against Kaplan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vermilion Catholic will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Kaplan will have lost three straight heading into Thursday's contest.
