Football Game Preview: South Lamar Stallions vs. Pickens County Tornadoes + How To Watch

South Lamar hasn't had much luck against Pickens County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Stallions will be playing at home against the Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

South Lamar lost 54-33 to Berry back in September.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Pickens County was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were beaten by Hubbertville 53-6. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Lions are ranked 121st).

South Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pickens County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Things could have been worse for South Lamar, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-12 loss to Pickens County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
