Life Oak Cliff had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 19-run drubbing they dealt Madison on Tuesday. The Lions never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 19-0 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Kaylee Gonzaelz made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Tacara Thomas was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Juanita Aguilar also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Life Oak Cliff lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Life Oak Cliff is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Madison, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Life Oak Cliff does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison, they will face off against Trinity Leadership at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
