Volleyball Game Preview: Tahoma Bears vs. Stadium Tigers + Official Tickets

Tahoma has gone a perfect 3-0 against Stadium recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Wednesday, Tahoma didn't have quite enough to beat Kennedy Catholic and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost six in a row.

Tahoma couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Kennedy Catholic a tough time in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 20-25, 30-28, 15-8.

Despite the defeat, Tahoma saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hayden Jeminez had 19 digs and two aces. Jeminez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Chloe Phan also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Meanwhile, Stadium came up short against Mt. Rainier on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-11, 24-26, 25-14, 25-18.

Tahoma's loss dropped their record down to 11-8-1. As for Stadium, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Tahoma took their victory against Stadium in their previous matchup back in October by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
