Football Recap: Piedmont Comes Up Short on the Road Against Parkwood + How To Watch

Piedmont kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost to the Parkwood Wolf Pack on the road by a 28-12 margin. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Piedmont didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andon Greene and James (JC) Helms.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anwar Bit, who picked up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Coming up, Piedmont will venture away from home to challenge South Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkwood, they will welcome Cuthbertson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
